🔬 Tianyan-504: China's Largest Superconducting Chip

CTQG (China Topological Quantum Group) and CAS unveiled the Tianyan-504 processor with the Xiaohong superconducting chip — 504 Logical Qubits, establishing a new Chinese record for superconducting qubit count as of December 2024.

Derivation & Evidence

The Tianyan-504 processor features the Xiaohong superconducting chip with 504 Logical Qubits, announced in December 2024. While CTQG has not yet published below-threshold QEC results comparable to Google Willow or USTC Zuchongzhi 3.2, the 504-qubit chip represents China's largest superconducting qubit count.
